About Dr. Schneider
Dr. Shelby Schneider joined Summit Eye Care to provide primary eye care to patients throughout Milwaukee and Wauwatosa, WI. She brings a strong foundation in ocular disease and specialty contact lens fitting, with particular experience in pediatric care and low vision.
Specialty: Optometry
Dr. Schneider earned her Doctor of Optometry from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University, graduating with distinction. She completed clinical rotations at Great Lakes Bay Health Center, the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center, and Summit Eye Care, gaining hands-on experience in contact lenses, surgical post-op, and binocular vision disorders. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, from Saginaw Valley State University, graduating cum laude. During her doctoral training, Dr. Schneider was honored with the William Feinbloom Low Vision Award.
When she is not busy caring for the eye health of her patients, Dr. Schneider enjoys golfing, reading, and attending Brewers games.
