Summit Eye Care was established in 2019, led by board-certified ophthalmologist and internationally-renowned cataract and refractive surgeon Dr. John Vukich. Repeatedly named one of the “Best Doctors in America,” Dr. Vukich has spent his career at the forefront of the field of ophthalmology and has helped thousands of patients achieve clearer vision. Our expert eye care team includes experienced optometrists Dr. Nicholas Bruns, Dr. Mark Mlsna, and Dr. Jason Schad. The entire staff at Summit Eye Care is devoted to providing exceptional personalized care to each of our patients.
Operation Sight
At Summit Eye Care, we are proud to participate in Operation Sight, which is the charitable arm of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS). This organization makes it possible for individuals who are not fully insured or otherwise unable to get surgical care to connect with surgeons who can provide that care.
As Dr. Vukich says, “We understand that there is great need, not only internationally but at home as well, and we want to be able to service the needs of patients who are in this area. We volunteer to provide cataract and refractive services for those individuals who have the greatest need. For us, it’s our way of giving back in a way that is meaningful and contributes to our community.”
